Who are we?
We are a user led group of people who have physical and /or learning disabilities or mental health issues. We organise weekly activities that promote the health and well being of people with disabilities as well as providing a social outlet and a forum for learning new skills as well as personal development.
What do we do?
We run groups and activities in Northampton for people with disabilities and mental health issues. Our mission is to improve the quality of life and health and well being for those with disabilities and
mental health issues in Northamptonshire. We are user led and our sessions include activities that suit the needs of the current group and help them to learn new skills, socialise, get creative and improve
confidence, self-esteem and emotional intelligence and well-being
Workshop sessions are held weekly and include chair yoga, cookery, sound thearpy, arts and crafts, creative writing, karaoke to name a few.
Individuals are also supported with their own goals
through mentoring, nutritional therapy and life coaching.
